Make moves on…..

final Make post

Hello everyone! We hope you are all well. We have some news for you. After seven fabulous years of Make Horsham, we are having to hang up our crochet hooks. We have loved every minute of organising our craft classes, and if it wasn’t for family commitments, we would continue to do so.

As per our constitution we had a remaining balance of £231.02, which has been divided and donated to various charities. We chose Springboard, Horsham Food Bank, Sussex Aid for Refugees and Age UK Horsham. We recently received a lovely note of thanks from Cerian who runs Sussex Aid for Refugees who has purchased yarn for the boxes of love team to knit into goodies plus toys for their shoebox appeal with our donation.

Thanks from us go to our fellow organisers over the years – Terri, Sue and Bee – and we would like to thank you, our amazing crafting followers, for your support. Just please promise us one thing before we go… that you’ll keep crafting.

Much love Magdalen, Karen and Sarah xx

I just wanted to say that I will be running a few last workshops myself separately over the next 2 months, here in Horsham, making lampshades and diffuser bracelets and lino printing notebooks/ journals etc. I’d love you to join me if you wanted to. My facebook group is here. Or do send me an email at magdalentylerwhittle@yahoo.co.uk if you wanted more details.

Take care, Magdalen x
