This workshop is ideal for those wanting to learn some basics of sugarcraft and for an introduction to sugarcraft modelling. Nickie Milner from Cakes by Nicola, based in West Horsham, has been making wonderful cakes and cupcakes for the past year and so is the perfect person to be running these workshops for us.

She will be teaching us how to craft these 3 stunning cake toppers, a Teddy Bear, a pirate and a Mermaid (each around 6-8 cm high)  ideal for using on top of a childrens birthday cake. The focus will be on creating these step-by-step so then once accomplished you will be able to tackle a whole range of other novelty character toppers. You will be able to plan your own colour scheme and shown how to mix and prepare pastes for modelling and shown how to use the all the professional tools.

Stored correctly the toppers will last for several months and can be used on cakes as and when you need them. All equipment and ingredients are included. Full notes for you to take home are also included. All you need to bring is an apron and an air tight container. This is a perfect workshop for total beginners as the places are limited to only 10 people.

Suitable : for all abilities

Place: limited to 10 places, on each workshop

Cost:  £19

You will need to bring:

–           An apron and a medium sized air tight container

Please email us at if you are interested and we can send you the booking form.
