Sew an Advent Calendar Workshop

14 Oct

Monday 4th November 2013

with Victoria Coward  from Cuddle Monster Crafts

7.00 pm – 9.30pm (2 ½ hrs) at Brighton Road Baptist Church, Horsham

Victoria from Cuddle Monster Crafts will again be hosting another workshop for you to practise on your sewing machine. This time she will be showing you how to make this beautifully simple advent calendar which has pockets which you can fill with a little treat for each day or pop a written treat or clue inside each one. It’s sure to become a family heirloom to be used every Christmas.

The cost of the workshop covers the basic calico for the base, lots of different Christmas themed materials already pre-cut into squares plus buttons, felt and other bits for decoration. You will also receive printed instructions for the workshop including how to add your own stick and ribbon at home once you have made it in class. The calico base is roughly 20″ by 30″ and the squares are 4″.

This is ideal if you came to our ‘Learn about your Sewing Machine’ Workshop with Victoria in the Summer and want to learn and practise more. This workshop is also excellent value for money so the limited 10 places will sure to go fast so get your skates on!
